It’s a known fact. Acid reflux symptoms in women can be worse than for men. They may not like to admit it, but everyone knows women can handle more than men!
My name is Laurel and I have suffered from acid reflux my entire life. I’ve tried medications and all sorts of quackery. Nothing has been a long term cure for me.
At some point along the way I simply gave up on finding a cure or even a middle term remedy for my heartburn and reflux. I was resigned to live with it for the rest of my life, painful as it was.
Well, fast forward many boxes of over the counter medication and a ton of antacids. After my daughter hit the age of three, she started getting acid reflux as well. While it was acceptable for me to put up with it, there was NO WAY I would let my daughter.
I managed to finally find relief. Despite how severe acid reflux symptoms in women can be, I rest quietly knowing my daughter doesn’t have to deal with it anymore.
