The Night That Made Me Take Acid Reflux Seriously

by Laurel

I alluded earlier to the fact that my daughter had painful acid reflux symptoms. Women are more likely to have severe symptoms and she was certainly not immune or different.

My little angel had certainly complained from time to time about feeling uncomfortable or even feeling pain, but I hadn’t really taken it too seriously.  I didn’t think she had particularly sever reflux.  Boy was I wrong.

She was certainly showing symptoms of acid reflux, but it wasn’t until she showed up next to my bed at three in the morning, in so much pain tears were streaming down her face, that I really sat up and had to do something about it.

Like I said in my last post, acid reflux symptoms in women are severe, and while I had lived with mine for years, I wasn’t going to force my little girl to live with hers.  Enough was enough.  I needed to find some acid reflux help.

We went to the doctor and got the equivalent of an over the counter drug.  Great.  Not really what I had in mind.  I wanted a reflux cure, not just a treatment.  I decided to do my own research and eventually found some great preventative measures.

I’ll write  a bit more in a few days.  Thanks for listening!
